Just Love My Kiddos!

Today we went outside in the afternoon to play for a little while, and my boys had some basketballs outside. It was so fun to see them so happy and running around. I want SPRING! I love all 4 of the seasons, but seriously need SPRING to be here so that we can just go play outside everyday. Cruze saw something on Curious George about crickets, so he was looking for some today. He couldn't find any, but he asked me, "Are all of these leaves the cricket's blankets?" It was so cute so of course I said, "yes I think they must be." It just made me smile.

Cute Random pics of our Family!

Enza's adorable smile that we love.

Enza somehow finding Cruze's water bottle and figuring out how to drink out of it. I was floored that at 6 months she knew what to do with it. It even has a straw to suck out of. Love It!

Gauge has decided since Crize won't take a nap that he won't either and then it catches up to him and if he sits for more than five minutes which is really rare, he will do this. It is so funny that he won't just go lay down in his bed.

After a few weeks of really hard days and nights, the boys were asleep and I guess Enza and I fell asleep too. It's a pretty cute pic.

Daddy making cookies with the boys, something that they love to be involved in. It doesn't happen enough at our house, but when it does, the boys are all in.

Daddy was taking a nap on the couch and then Cruze fell asleep too. It was so cute, then Gauge was feeling left out so he decided to climb up there and pretend to sleep with the boys. It was pretty cute.

Gauge absolutely loves to ride on dad's shoulders so here is one of that too.

Cruze's Party!

Abigale helping Cruze open one of his presents.

Gabe dressed up with balloons as a pirate.

Savannah getting made into a fairy.

Preslie decorating her cupcake.

Maverick decorating his cupcake.

And the birthday boy opening his big legos that he loves.

Cruze turns 4. So I am a little late on this, but here it is. We had so much fun. It was a bit crazy but it seemed like everyone had a good time. So here are some pictures. We actually hired the Balloon Guy, and he was great. We were so pleased with him. Happy birthday Cruze you are growing way to fast. We love you!

Superbowl, Poop and My Birthday!

You may be asking yourself what all of these things have in common, and trust me I know they sound like a crazy combo. Well let me tell you! First of all today is Super Bowl Sunday, so that is for starters. Second my birthday is tomorrow. For the last month or so Cruze has been asking me what I want for my birthday, because I had been asking him the same thing. His birthday is two days before mine. So I have been telling him that all I want is for him to go poop on the potty. He has been potty trained for about 4 months now. Except with the poop factor. He will wait until I put a diaper on him for bed. It has been so frusterating to try to fight him for so long. So tonight we were at my parents house and he needed to go but when I sat him on the potty he just bawled. I have continuously thought if he would just go, I think then he would see it is no big deal. So he cried some more tonight and then he came to me and said., "Mom, uh mom, " he was hunched over and I could tell he needed to poop. So I carried him into the bathroom and put him on the toilet again. He sat there and immediately pooped and he yelled so loud when he did. He was so excited. He told me to wait to he could show dad, and then he said, "Mom I feel so much better and now my bum is happy." I was elated. I know it sounds silly to be elated about poop, but I truly was. For so many reasons, but I was so happy to see that proud look on Cruze's face, knowing that he did what he didn't think he could do. So he told me that he pooped on the potty for my birthday, and I can't think of a better present he could have given me. Ethan would like to add that, Cruze has single-handedly taken the Browns to the Superbowl. Yeah!

Overnight Getaway!

On Friday, February 5th Ethan's boss Shawn put all of us up in the downtown Marriott in really nice rooms. Then for dinner he paid for everyone to eat at Rodizio's and then he did a presentation, and awards ceremony. Then the rest of the night was ours. We hung out with Mike & Jackie (Ethan's friend from growing up and his wife) We went to see When in Rome. It was so-so. I wouldn't see it again. We are extremely picky about what we see and this was the first movie we have gone to see since before I was pregnant with Cruze. I know it's been forever. Then we went to Red Mango (which is the best thing ever) and ate Frozen Yogurt and talked. It was so much fun. It was such a great night away. Thanks so much Nate & Liz, and Thanks so much Shawn & Teresa. They are so generous.
